RUSTON -- The Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters (2-3) picked up their second win of the season Friday on the opening day of the 2007 Louisiana Tech Invitational in three games by scored of 30-10, 30-17 and 30-18.

The Techsters hit .409 for the entire match. Senior Shannon Phillips and sophomore KC Clayton led Tech in kills with nine apiece, while senior Jill Walker finished with 29 assists.

Tech will return to action tonight at 7 p.m. to take on Southeastern Louisiana.
