RUSTON ? Louisiana Tech golf will be hosting the annual Squire Creek Intercollegiate Golf Classic College-AM on Sunday, Oct. 14 at 1:30 p.m.

The event will consist of a 24, 4-person teams playing a scramble format with each team being joined by two outstanding collegiate golfers representing the 18 teams entered in the Squire Creek Intercollegiate Golf Classic played the following Monday and Tuesday.

This year?s tournament includes teams from Louisiana Tech, LSU, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Middle Tennessee, Southern Miss, Rice, Nevada, Louisiana-Monroe, Arkansas State, College of Charleston, UALR, North Texas, UTA, Sam Houston State, New Orleans, Louisiana-Lafayette and Jacksonville State. Ten of the 18 teams are currently ranked in the top 100.

Entry fee for the College-AM is $200 per person or $800 per team. All profits from the tournament will benefit the Louisiana Tech golf team. Each participant in the tournament will receive a free gift, supper at Squire Creek Country Club following the tournament and a chance to play for flight prizes.
