ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH
LA Tech opened the 2025-26 season by hosting the Argent Financial Classic.  The Bulldogs, who shot at or under par in all three rounds, ended up carding an 854 (-10) to finish in a tie for seventh among the 17-team field.

Morton Bailey and Oskari Schuvalow both tied for 15th as individuals at the recent Argent Financial Classic.  Bailey bounced back from an opening-round 78 to shoot five under (67) and a career-low six (66) under in rounds two and three, respectively.  In doing so, the sophomore became the first Bulldog in program history to register back-to-back rounds of five under or better.

Schuvalow also had two rounds under par at the AFC, shooting a career-low 68 (-4) in round one and then a 69 (-3) in round three.  It was the second career top 20 finish for the junior.

The two Bulldogs will be joined in the lineup by Riley Hnatyshyn, Isaac Adams, and Seth Campbell.  The trio combined to record five rounds at or under par.  Hnatyshyn was the next best finisher for the Bulldogs at the AFC, shooting 215 (-1) to end in a tie for 33rd.
