RUSTON - Louisiana Tech athletic officials are urging all fans planning on attending Saturday's opener between Mississippi State and Louisiana Tech at Joe Aillet Stadium to purchase their tickets in advance.

Tech officials are still anticipating a record-setting crowd for the game and long lines at the ticket booths on game day are expected.

Tech Deputy Athletic Director Bruce Van De Velde said in order for people to avoid standing in long lines on game day they should purchase their tickets in the next few days by calling the ticket office at 318-257-3631 or by logging onto www.latechsports.com.

Van De Velde also noted that season tickets are still on sale as Tech looks to increase on an already record number of tickets sold.
