RUSTON - A new tradition which was started last year will continue Saturday as Louisiana Tech fans can participate in the "Walk of Pride" at approximately 3:45 p.m.
In an effort spearheaded by Tech Band of Pride director Jim Robken, the "Walk of Pride" will allow all Bulldog fans to line the road from Alabama Ave to the front door of the Charles Wyly Athletic Center to welcome the team to Joe Aillet Stadium.
As the team unloads the buses at the south end of the stadium, the Band of Pride will line the way and play the Tech fight song while fans can cheer on the Bulldog players and coaches who walk through the tunnel and into the locker room.
"The Walk of Pride is something that our players really appreciate and enjoy," said Tech head coach Derek Dooley. "It's another example of why we have the best band in the country. Jim Robken's passion and commitment to generating game-day enthusiasm and energy is a model for everyone affiliated with the Tech Family."
