Final Stats
BOISE, Idaho--After winning the first set, Louisiana Tech's volleyball team was unable to come away with the match victory late Saturday night as the Techsters fell 3-1 to Boise State (5-18, 5-6 WAC). Set scores were 22-25, 25-21, 25-22 and 25-22.
Two Techsters recorded double-doubles in the match in Kassia Pinto and Nataliya Panova. Pinto led Tech (14-14, 4-8 WAC) with 13 kills to go along with 14 digs while Panova totaled 11 kills and led the team with 15 digs. Junior Kara Jones also registered 13 kills for Tech.
Louisiana Tech topped the Broncos 17-16 in individual blocks. The Techsters also recorded more team blocks than Boise State, but it wasn't enough to stop the Broncos.
The TEchsters are now a half game out of sixth place in the WAC. The top six teams qualify for the conference tournament on Nov. 23.
Tech will return to action on Nov. 5 when they host Idaho in Ruston at the Thomas Assembly Center beginning at 7:00 p.m. CT.
