Game Captains for LA Tech: #43 Dustin Mitchell and #83 Adrian Logan
Louisiana Tech's win Saturday night against Nicholls State pushed the Bulldogs' all-time record over Nicholls State to 4-0. The win also gave LA Tech a 71-28-6 all-time record in home openers in Ruston.
Louisiana Tech has now won six consecutive home openers and six consecutive home openers over non-conference opponents.
Head coach Derek Dooley is now 3-0 in home openers as a head coach.

Phillip Livas caught four passes for 85 yards in the game, marking the 26th consecutive game Livas has caught a pass in. Livas has now played in 28 games in his career and his streak of recording a catch in 26 straight games ranks 12th in the nation.
