RUSTON, La. - Senior Magnum Rolle was named the International Player of the Week in the Western Athletic Conference by Netscouts Basketball.

The Freeport, Bahamas native averaged 17 points and 11.5 rebounds, leading LA Tech to a 1-1 record last week. He had 17 rebounds, including nine offensive boards, against Hawai'i to tie a career high. Against the Rainbow Warriors, he shot 61.1 percent (11-18) from the field and scored 23 points to lead the Bulldogs to their 18th win of the season. Earlier in the week he recorded 11 points and six rebounds, five offensive, in a loss to San Jose State.

It is the second International Player of the Week award won by Rolle, who was also named the player of the week once by Netscouts, the largest collegiate basketball scouting service in the country.
