PINE BLUFF, Ark.--The Lady Techster tennis team completed a weekend sweep of both Central Arkansas and the University of Arkansas Pine-Bluff after defeating UAPB Sunday 7-0.

The Techsters swept Central Arkansas in Conway, Ark. on Saturday.

"I'm very proud of our team for the way they played this weekend," head coach Quintin Yray said. "They stayed focused and played every point like it was the first."

Techsters; Vivian ten Dolle, Cecile Vichery, Maartje de Wit and Rocio Juarez all won their matches in straight sets 6-0, 6-0. In the five in six slots for Tech, Alena Erofeyeva and Laura Rodriguez won their matches by default.

In doubles action the duo of ten Dolle and de Wit won their match 8-1 while Vichery and Juarez won 8-0.

In the 65 games played in all the matches combined on Sunday (singles and doubles), Tech lost only one.

The Techsters will return to the courts Friday when they travel to play Houston at 1 p.m. CT.
