RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech senior Magnum Rolle was named to the 2010 Lefty Driesell Defensive All-America Team announced by collegeinsider.com.
The Freeport, Bahamas native was one of 20 NCAA Division I players to receive the honor and have a chance to be named the Defensive Player of the Year on Friday in Indianapolis, Ind.
Along with Rolle's 13.9 points per game, the 6-11 senior forward brought down 8.4 rebounds, the third best in the Western Athletic Conference. He led the WAC in blocks per game at 2.1 and had recorded multiple blocks in 20 of 34 games.
Rolle was named to the all-WAC Second Team and all-WAC Defensive Team earlier this season.
