Auburn hurler Anna Thompson pitched a no-hitter as the Tigers edged out Louisiana Tech 1-0 Friday afternoon in the second game of the War Eagle Classic.

The Tigers (10-6) led the frame off with an Amber Harrison single. Harrison then stole second base and advanced to third on a ground out for the first out of the inning.
Kyndall White then put down a perfect bunt on a squeeze play, scoring Harrison with the lone run of the game.
Tech's Amberly Waits drew a one-out walk in the top of the seventh but was thrown out trying to steal for the second out of the inning. Thompson then recorded her 16th strikeout to end the game.
