Louisiana Tech falls to San Jose State

Final Stats

RUSTON, La.- Louisiana Tech (9-13; 0-6 WAC) fell to the San Jose State Spartans, 3-0 (7-13; 2-4 WAC) in the Thomas Assembly Center Thursday night.

Leading the Lady Techsters with four kills each were Marcella Braz, Caitlin Germany and Emily Maher. Bianca Bin recorded 13 assists, while Stephany Salas recorded a team high 10 digs.

San Jose State had three players record double digit kills, led by Savanah Leaf, who had a game high 14. Caitlin Andrade recorded 36 of the Spartans' assists as they posted a .354 hitting percentage. Hanah Blume and Kiely Pieper each recorded double digit digs (12 and 11 respectively).

Louisiana Tech will continue conference play Friday at 7 p.m. when they take nationally-ranked Hawai'i at home in the Thomas Assembly Center.
