RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech (9-14; 0-7 WAC) fell to nationally-ranked Hawaii Rainbow Wahine (17-1; 7-0 WAC), 3-0 in the Thomas Assembly Center Friday evening.
Leading the Lady Techsters with 7 digs was Junior Stephany Salas. Junior Marcella Braz recorded three kills. Bianca Bin led the Lady Techsters with 6 assists, while Stephany Salas recorded a team high 7 digs. With Bin's 6 assists, she has now recorded 3,246 assists for her career, fourth best all-time.
Leading the Rainbow Wahine with 11 kills was Jane Croson. Mita Uiato recorded a game-high 24 assists. Hawaii recorded an attack percentage of 35 percent. Louisiana Tech will continue their home stand next week, as they will host Northwestern State on October 19.
