NACOGDOCHES, Texas - Louisiana Tech dropped its season record to 2-2 following a 5-2 loss at Stephen F. Austin on Sunday.

The Lady Techsters received wins by Anna Zurek and Alene Erofeyeva in singles. Zurek teamed up with Elne Barnard and recorded a win in doubles.

Zureck defeated Andreea Enica 6-3, 6-3 in No. 2 singles and Erofeyeva defeated Meaghan Ocanas 6-3, 6-1 in No. 6 singles.

Barnard, Tech's No. 1 singles player, dropped her first match of the season 6-2, 6-1 to SFA's Alina Shazhko.

Barnard and Zurek defeated Shazhko and Paola Montuenga 8-7 (7-0) in No. 1 doubles. However, the Ladyjacks won No. 2 and No. 3 doubles to capture the doubles point.

The Lady Techsters will next be in action on Saturday as they host Southeastern Louisiana at 10 a.m.
