With the 70-46 win, LA Tech now leads the all-time series 1-0.

This is the second straight victory for the Bulldogs pushing their overall record to 2-1 and dropping the Trojans to 1-2.

Bulldog starters were Michale Kyser, Cordarius Johnson, Kenneth Smith, Raheem Appleby and Brandon Gibson.

This was the first time the Bulldogs have held their opponent to that few of points in a half since Nov. 22, 2009 when they held Nicholls State to 18.

Isaiah Massey matched his career-high in points with seven, all coming in the first half.

Trojans scored at 14:45 on a jumper for the first time in the second half to break the 20-point barrier.

Cordarius Johnson led all scorers with 16 on 4-of-6 shooting, including three three-pointers.

Brandon Gibson had a game-high eight rebounds along with nine points.

LA Tech made 22 field goals with 17 of those came off of assists.

The Bulldogs outrebounded the Trojans 42-30.

After going 6-22 and 4-21 from three-point range against Texas A&M and UALR, the Bulldogs shot 44% from three against the Trojans, going 10-23.
