Louisiana Tech at Chattanooga Nov. 20, 2012 Game Notes

The 71-63 win by the Bulldogs was the first ever over the Mocs. Chattanooga now leads the all-time series 2-1 over LA Tech.

LA Tech is now 4-1 on the year with four straight wins. Chattanooga is 1-4 on the year with four straight losses.

LA Tech starters were Cordarius Johnson, Brandon Gibson, Raheem Appleby, Kenneth Smith and Michale Kyser. This has been the same starting lineup for all five games this season.

Brandon Gibson opened the game with a three-pointer for the Bulldogs for the third time in five games this season.

LA Tech was 7-of-13 from three-point range in the first half.

Kenneth Smith recorded six assists with five of those coming in the first half. That makes all five games this year where he has had at least five assists.

Bulldogs scored 12 points in the final 2:35 in the first half on two three pointers and going a perfect 6-for-6 from the free throw line.

Raheem Appleby matched his career-high in points with 30 on 9-of-16 shooting and 10-of-12 from the free throw line.

Chattanooga guard Gee McGhee led the Mocs in scoring with 19 points.
