RUSTON - Due to the forecast for strong thunderstorms throughout the day, Louisiana Tech's home softball doubleheader against Southeastern Louisiana which was scheduled for today has been postponed.

The Lady Techsters and the Lions will makeup the doubleheader on March 12 at 3 p.m. at the Lady Techster Softball Complex.

Tech will travel to Lafayette this weekend to compete in a three-day tournament where for the second straight week the Lady Techsters will face some stiff competition, including games against 20th ranked UL-Lafayette, North Carolina (ORV) and Northwestern (ORV).

The weekend starts Friday when Tech faces Northwestern State at 1:30 p.m. and Northwestern at 5 p.m. Saturday's schedule includes a single game against UTEP at 8:30 a.m. while the tournament concludes Sunday with games against North Carolina at 9 a.m. and UL-Lafayette at 4:30 pm.
