RUSTON - Louisiana Tech defeated Conference USA foe FIU, 85-51, Saturday night in the Thomas Assembly Center.

• With the win, Louisiana Tech moves to 14-3 on the season with a 2-0 mark in Conference USA action. FIU falls to 9-8 this season and 1-1 in league play.

• Starters for LA Tech: Alex Hamilton, Michale Kyser, Kenneth Smith, Chris Anderson, Cordarius Johnson. The Bulldogs are now 3-0 on the season when starting this lineup.

• Attendance for tonight's doubleheader between the Lady Techsters and Bulldogs: 4,236.

• The Bulldogs are currently on a six-game winning streak with the win over the Panthers tonight. LA Tech is also 7-1 in games played in the Thomas Assembly Center.

• The Dunkin' Dogs are now 14-0 when tied or leading opponents at half time. LA Tech led FIU, 42-24, at half time of tonight's game.

• Louisiana Tech had five players record double-digit points in the win over FIU: Michale Kyser - 11, Chris Anderson - 11, Alex Hamilton - 16, Kenyon McNeail - 12, Jaron Johnson - 18.

• LA Tech is 6-0 on the season when holding opponents to less than 60 points in a single game.

• Michale Kyser has now recorded back-to-back double-doubles, as he had 11 points and 11 rebounds in the win. He now has three double-doubles on the season and four in his Bulldog career.

• Jaron Johnson's 18 points and 11 rebounds are both career highs for the senior guard. Johnson also recorded the first double-double of his career tonight vs. the Panthers.

• This is the second time this season the Bulldogs had two players (Kyser and Johnson) record double-doubles in the same game.

• With three blocks against the Panthers, Michale Kyser has now had at least three blocks in 15 of 17 games this season. Kyser now has a season total of 68 blocks in 2013-14. That ranks Kyser second in the nation in total blocks.

• Kenneth Smith had four steals tonight versus FIU, which gives him 39 for the season and 138 steals in his Bulldog career. Smith also added six assists in the win, which gives him a career total of 415, which continues to rank him fifth all-time in Bulldog history.

• The 51 points scored by FIU is a season-low for the Panthers this season.

• LA Tech is now 12-0 when forcing 15 or more turnovers in a game. The Bulldogs forced 18 turnovers by the Panthers in the win.
