RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech (17-4, 5-1 C-USA) defeated Marshall (7-14, 1-5 C-USA), 98-77, Saturday night in Conference USA play at the Thomas Assembly Center.

• Louisiana Tech is now 4-0 versus Marshall in the all-time series.

• The announced attendance for tonight's game was 7,355, which ranks fourth all-time in Bulldog Basketball history.

• Louisiana Tech has now won eight straight home games.

• Starters for LA Tech: Alex Hamilton, Isaiah Massey, Kenneth Smith, Chris Anderson, Cordarius Johnson. The Bulldogs are now 1-0 on the season with this lineup.

• With 17 total points and 13 assists, Kenneth Smith recorded the second double-double of the season and his career.

• After tying a season-high for assists with 13 vs. the Thundering Herd, Kenneth Smith has now recorded at least 10 assists in a game five times this season. Smith is currently fifth all-time in career assists in LA Tech history with a total of 461 assists. Smith also tied for third all-time in Bulldog history for assists in a game with 13 against Marshall.
