• With the 87-72 win, Louisiana Tech now leads the all-time series over UTSA, 6-2.

• LA Tech improves to 18-5 on the season and 6-2 in C-USA play, snapping UTSA's four game home winning streak. UTSA falls to 7-13 on the season and 3-4 in C-USA play.

• The Bulldogs have yet to lose back-to-back games this season.

• LA Tech starters were Alex Hamilton, Michale Kyser, Kenneth Smith, Chris Anderson and Jaron Johnson. This is the second straight game with this lineup.

• With a game-high four steals, Kenneth Smith has 155 career steals and 56 steals on the season. Smith moved into fourth place all-time in career steals.

• Kenneth Smith has now recorded at least three steals in a game in 10 games this season and in 23 games in his career.

• Kenneth Smith registered a game-high nine assists. This is the sixth straight game of at least nine assists for the junior point guard who is second in the country in assists per game.

• Kenyon McNeail drained five three-pointers in the Convocation Center, the place where he tied a program record last season with nine three's. This was the fifth time this season he has hit at least four in a game.

• Five Bulldogs scored in double figures. Jaron Johnson has registered double-digit scoring in four straight games after scoring 11 today.
