POST-GAME NOTES

• With the 84-72 victory, Louisiana Tech now trails in the all-time series against Texas A&M, 4-3. The win was the first over the Aggies since 1970. The Bulldogs had lost two straight.

• For the second straight season, the Bulldogs advance to the NIT quarterfinals.

• LA Tech improved to 27-8 on the season. The win marked the third straight season of 27+ wins, just one of four teams (Wichita State, Gonzaga and Stephen F. Austin) in the country to do so.

• This is the third straight season the Bulldogs have won on the road in the NIT. In 2013, they won at Florida State. In 2014, they won at Georgia. Now in 2015, they won at Texas A&M.

• This was the second straight year LA Tech won at an SEC opponent in the second round of the NIT.

• Head coach Michael White and the three seniors picked up career win No. 101.

• The 12-point victory was the largest by a LA Tech team over a current SEC opponent since 2002 when the `Dogs beat Vanderbilt, 83-68, in the NIT.

• LA Tech improved to 12-8 all-time in NIT games in what is its ninth appearance.

• LA Tech is now 9-7 in road games this season.

• LA Tech is now 92-1 under coach White when leading with five minutes to go in the game. The Bulldogs were up 68-56 at the time.

• The 84 points was the most the Aggies have allowed all season.

• The Bulldogs started just 1-of-12 from beyond the arc. From there, they went 10-of-17 to total 11 made three-pointers.

• LA Tech forced Texas A&M into 15 turnovers. It was the 21st time this season the Bulldogs have forced at least 15 in a single game. It is also the 85th time out of 140 games they have done so (60.7 percent).

• The Bulldogs had five dunks on the night to bring their season total to 140, surpassing last year's total of 138.

• Alex Hamilton and Raheem Appleby have combined to score 1,053 points this season. They are the seventh highest scoring duo in program history.

• LA Tech starting lineup - Alex Hamilton, Michale Kyser, Erik McCree, Raheem Appleby and Kenneth Smith.

• Speedy made his team-leading 117th career start.

• Hamilton made his 74th straight start as a Bulldog.

• Hamilton scored a game-high 25 points on 9-of-15 shooting from the field. It marked the eighth time this season he has scored 20+ points in a single game and the first since Feb. 19 at Charlotte.

• Speedy added 16 points, including a perfect 4-of-4 from three-point range. It was one point shy of tying his season-high.

• Kyser was the third Bulldog in double figures with 14 points. He has scored double digits in five of the last six games.

• Speedy dished out eight assists, marking the 19th time this year he has registered at least eight in a single game.

• Kyser rejected four balls, bringing his season total to 100. It is the second straight season the senior has recorded at least 100 blocks.
