IRVING, Texas - Officials from Conference USA announced Wednesday that two Louisiana Tech Football games in the 2015 season have moved dates due to national television broadcasts.
Louisiana Tech's game at Western Kentucky has been moved to Thursday, Sept. 10 in Bowling Green, Kentucky off its original day of Sept. 12. Additionally, the Bulldogs' game at Rice in Houston has been moved to Friday, Oct. 30. Last year's final week matchup between the Bulldogs and the Owls decided the division title.
Broadcast details, including television networks and game times, will be announced at a later date.
The Bulldogs enter the 2015 season as the reigning Conference USA West Division champions after going 7-1 in league play.
Conference USA's national television partners are Fox Sports Media Group, CBS Sports Network and American Sports Network for regular season games. The league's 11th annual Championship Game, pitting the champions of the East and West Divisions, is scheduled for Saturday, December 5 and will be televised by ESPN or ESPN 2.
Fans have the opportunity to take advantage of several great specials and giveaways by renewing or purchasing their season tickets by the Spring Game on April 18, including locking in on 2014 price rate and the waiving of the processing fee if purchased online. After the Spring Game, all renewals and new purchases will be charged the 2015 price rate.
In addition to taking advantage of last year's price rate, fans that renew or purchase by the Spring Game will receive a replica Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl championship trophy (one per account).
For an incentive to purchase online at LATechSports.com, the processing fee ($15) will be waived and all fans that purchase online by the Spring Game will be entered to win a white helmet that will be given away at the spring game.
