RUSTON, La. - With the start of the season almost a month away and fall camp set to begin in a week, Louisiana Tech announced promotions and events surrounding its six home football games for the 2015 season.

Several great options are available for fans as season tickets, mini-plans, family packs and single game tickets are all on sale, including a limited number of Young Alumni seats on the East Side with a free chairback upgrade. All tickets can be purchased by calling the LA Tech Ticket Office at 318-257-3631, emailing TechTickets@LATech.edu or by visiting the LA Tech Ticket Office online at LATechSports.com.

The season opens on Sept. 5 at the newly-expanded Joe Aillet Stadium as the Bulldogs host Southern in a game that will feature post-game fireworks. The game will be First Responders Day with $12 discounted tickets for all police, fire and EMT staff and their family members.

The annual RED OUT game will be on Sept. 26 when Louisiana Tech hosts FIU with RED OUT shirts will be given away at the game. Additionally that will be Faith and Family Day as well as Youth Sports Day, with $12 group tickets for youth sports teams (10 or more).

When the Bulldogs host Louisiana-Lafayette on Oct. 3 it will be the Loyal Blue Out game with blue shirts given away to fans courtesy of Community Trust Bank. Louisiana Tech Football letterwinners are also invited back for the Oct. 3 game for LA Tech Legends Day with all past letterwinners receiving four complimentary tickets and the chance to be recognized on the field.

Louisiana Tech's annual Military Appreciation Day will be the Oct. 24 game against Middle Tennessee with donated tickets available for active duty and retired military personnel and their family members as well as a fly over scheduled for the game. It will also be Scout Day with $12 discounted tickets for scouts and their families and the Regal Blues and Cheerleaders will be hosting a clinic prior to the game at the Thomas Assembly Center. The $15 cheer and dance clinic registration includes a t-shirt and a chance to perform on the field during the game.

LA Tech's 90th annual Homecoming Game will be on Nov. 7 when the Bulldogs host North Texas. That will also be Department Day with Louisiana Tech University departmental competition on who will bring more faculty/staff members to the game. Discounted $12 tickets are available and the winning department will be recognized on the field during the game.

The 2015 regular season wraps up on Nov. 28 against Southern Miss in the historic Rivalry in Dixie game. Members of the LA Tech Football senior class and their families will be recognized in a pregame Senior Day ceremony.

With the Southern Miss game being the day after "Black Friday," fans that bring a receipt from shopping on Black Friday will be able to purchase tickets for $12. It will also be Community Day with group tickets of 20 or more available for $12 per ticket with Louisiana Tech faculty and staff members able to purchase discounted tickets for $12 apiece for Faculty/Staff Appreciation Day.

All group discounted tickets must be purchased in advance of game day with the exception of the Black Friday promotion.

Louisiana Tech went 9-5 with a 7-1 Conference USA mark last year, advancing to the C-USA Championship Game and winning the Zaxby's Heart of Dallas Bowl in a 35-18 win over Illinois.
