LA Tech Fans Reminded of Joe Aillet Stadium Policies

RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech hosts FIU on Saturday, Sept. 26 in a Conference USA game. With it being the first home game in two weeks at Joe Aillet Stadium, fans are reminded of policies for the stadium to help made the gameday experience a positive one for all visitors.

Fans are reminded that backpacks or bags larger than 12"x12" are prohibited from being brought into Joe Aillet Stadium and all bags are subject to search at the point of entry to the stadium. The following is a list of other items prohibited from Joe Aillet Stadium:

  • Coolers, ice chests, bottles, cans, cups or containers of any kind
  • Outside food and drinks
  • Umbrellas
  • Any type of artificial noise makers
  • Pets of any variety (except for service animals)

The following is a list of Joe Aillet Stadium policies and reminders to know when visiting Joe Aillet Stadium:

  • Stay hydrated: Temperatures on Saturday afternoon are expected to reach 90 degrees during the game so it's important that fans stay hydrated. If you are coming to the game on Saturday, start hydrating your body now and drink plenty of fluids for the remainder of the week including prior to entering Joe Aillet Stadium.
  • First Aid: First aid is available for fans at Joe Aillet Stadium. The stations are located (outside of the stadium) behind Section O on the east side and inside the stadium behind Section E on the west side at the base of the press box elevator.
  • Tobacco Free Campus/Stadium: Smoking and the use of all tobacco products on the Louisiana Tech campus and in Joe Aillet Stadium are prohibited. The use of cigarettes, e-cigarettes, cigars, smokeless tobacco, snuff, pipes and chewing tobacco are not permitted.
  • Stadium Security: Visitors to Joe Aillet Stadium may be subject to search and confiscated items will not be returned. Any and all items left near the stadium will be collected and discarded.
  • Ticket Office: The LA Tech Ticket Office opens four hours prior to each home game. Up until that point, fans may purchase tickets online at LATechSports.com.
  • Gates Open: Gates to Joe Aillet Stadium open 90 minutes prior to kickoff for each home game while the Club Level of the Davison Athletics Complex opens two hours prior to kickoff.
  • Handicapped Accessible Seating: Handicapped accessible areas are available on both sides of the stadium. Accommodations for wheelchairs on the east side are between Sections B and BB and Sections I and II. On the west side, the handicap area is located between Sections O and OO.
  • Re-Entry to Stadium Not Allowed: Anyone leaving Joe Aillet Stadium must have an un-scanned, new ticket to return to the stadium. Once a ticket has been scanned or the stub removed, it may not be used again for re-entry, unless otherwise directed by Louisiana Tech officials in emergency situations.
