BOCA RATON, Fla. - In game one of a two-game road trip in South Florida, Louisiana Tech fell to Florida Atlantic 3-0 (25-16, 25-15, 25-12, 25-20) on Friday night in Boca Raton, Florida.

Louisiana Tech was led by Marta Monne, who recorded a team-high nine kills on the night. Brooke Short guided the LA Tech attack with 23 assists.

FAU had two separate players register double-digit kills as Maja Ristic had a game-high 15 kills and Abbie Reid had 13.

Louisiana Tech will be back in action on Sunday afternoon, taking an hour trip south to Miami to face FIU at 12 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast live on CUSA.TV.
