POST-GAME NOTES
• With the 85-76 win, Louisiana Tech improved to 19-6 on the season and 8-4 in Conference USA play.
• Announced attendance: 5,213. It marked the largest crowd of the season for the Bulldogs.
• The victory by LA Tech snapped a two-game losing skid to UAB. The Bulldogs now trail in the all-time series, 6-3.
• LA Tech has won both meetings in Ruston against UAB.
• LA Tech improved to 14-1 at home this season.
• Since February of 2012, the Bulldogs are 63-2 at home which is the best home winning percentage in the country during that span.
• LA Tech is now 2-0 all-time in Red Out games.
• The 85 total points is the most allowed by UAB all season.
• For the eighth time this season, the Bulldogs came back to win after trailing at halftime. LA Tech trailed, 36-29, at intermission.
• The Bulldogs have won four games this season after trailing by as much as 10 points in the game.
• LA Tech scored 56 points in the second half, marking the fourth time this season the team has scored 50+ in a single stanza.
• With the victory, Alex Hamilton became the all-time winningest Bulldog in program history with 102 wins.
• With the win, Eric Konkol tied Keith Richard (1998-99) for the second most wins (19) for a first-year head coach in program history.
• LA Tech starters -- Alex Hamilton, Dayon Griffin, Jacobi Boykins, Erik McCree and Merrill Holden. This is the eighth straight game with this starting lineup.
• Alex Hamilton made his 100th consecutive start as a Bulldog.
• Erik McCree scored a career-high 33 points, the most by any Bulldog this season. It was the most points scored by a Bulldog since Kenyon McNeail scored 34 points at UTSA on Jan. 12, 2013.
• The 33 points by Erik McCree is tied for the seventh most points scored by a Bulldog inside the Thomas Assembly Center's 34-year history. It also marked his second career 30+ scoring performance.
• Alex Hamilton scored 20 points, moving into sixth place on the all-time career scoring list, passing Raheem Appleby (2011-15). He now has 1,789 career points.
• Alex Hamilton has nine games this season when he has scored 20+ points.
• Merrill Holden registered 12 points, despite only playing 18 minutes due to foul trouble. The junior has scored in double figures in six of the last nine games.
• Merrill Holden tied his career high with eight rebounds.
• Alex Hamilton recorded a game-high eight assists. It marked the eighth time this season the senior has had 8+ assists in a single game.
• Dayon Griffin tied a career high with four steals.
