RUSTON, La. - After upsetting 38th-ranked UAB for its first conference championship since 1980, Louisiana Tech will host a selection show watch party for fans at 8 a.m. on Thursday, May 5 at Squire Creek Country Club in Choudrant.

The selection show will be broadcast live on the Golf Channel's Morning Drive as the teams and individuals for all six regional sites will be unveiled. The Bulldogs received an automatic bid to the NCAA Regionals as the Conference USA Champions with a 3-2 upset win over UAB in the match play finals. This marks the first NCAA Regional appearance for Louisiana Tech's golf team.

A breakfast buffet will be provided but guests intending on joining the Bulldogs for the selection show are asked to sign up at http://www.latechalumni.org/selectionshow.

Senior Victor Lange, an NCAA Regional participant as an individual the last two years, will be making his third NCAA postseason appearance but the first with his team.

Louisiana Tech could be placed in one of six regional sites: Albuquerque, New Mexico; Kohler, Wisconsin; Nashville, Tennessee; Stillwater, Oklahoma; Tuscaloosa, Alabama or Tucson, Arizona.

In those sites three regions will have 12 teams and 10 individuals while the other three will have 13 teams and five individuals. The top five teams from each region, as well as the top individual not on those five teams, will advance to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Oregon on May 27 -- June 1.
