RUSTON, La. - Coming off of a 2-1 weekend at the Tiger Inivtiational in Memphis, the Lady Techsters take to their home court for the first time this season in a 7 p.m. matchup against Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Wednesday night at the Thomas Assembly Center.

Louisiana Tech swept a double header last Friday, defeating Eastern Illinois 3-1 and Jackson State 3-0. The Techsters dropped a tough 3-1 match against host Memphis in the finale on Saturday afternoon.

The Lady Techsters have already had multiple players named to all-tournament teams as Angie Papach picked up all-tournament honors at the Redhawks Invitational, while Brooke Short and Marta Monne received all-tournament honors at the Tiger Invitational in Memphis.

Led by Papach, who is a senior, the Lady Techsters have posted a .207 attacking percentage, while holding opponents to a .194 attacking percentage. Short plays a big role in the attack having registered 227 assists just six games into the season. Louisiana Tech ranks second in Conference USA with 46 service aces to this point in the season.

On the defensive side, Davis is averaging 1.7 blocks per set. The next highest in C-USA is Tatyana Thomas out of Charlotte who is averaging 1.36 per set. Davis' 13 blocks against UIC is the most in a game by an C-USA player this season as only two other players in the conference have even recorded ten blocks in a single match.

UAPB is off to a slow start this season, but has faced some fierce competition to this point. In their last game, they dropped a 3-0 decision to Big XII power Oklahoma.
