IRVING, Texas - On Wednesday afternoon, Conference USA officials announced that Louisiana Tech senior Jacie McClure was among the 13 volleyball student-athletes named to the 2017 In-Touch Credit Union All-Academic Team.

This marks the third straight season of conference academic honors for the Baton Rouge, Louisiana, native. Among the 43 nominees, McClure was the only senior with a perfect 4.00 GPA.

As a Kinesiology and Health Promotion major, McClure has made the President's list in every quarter during her time at Tech.

"We are all very happy for Jacie achieving this recognition for the third time in her career here at Louisiana Tech," head coach Adriano de Souza remarked. "Jacie has always dedicated herself to her education and this is a significant reward for all her hard work and commitment."

This season McClure played in 101 sets for the Lady Techsters, while accumulating 2.94 digs per set and a career-best 62 assists. She registered double-digit dig efforts in 15 matches this season, including a season-high 23 against Big Sky powerhouse North Dakota.

Over her career, McClure notched 962 digs over 373 sets played, while averaging 2.58 digs per set.

Off the court, the senior libero serves as the volleyball representative and social media chair on the SAAC Executive Committee.

She is also a member of the National Honor Society for Success and Leadership.
