LA Tech Golf Ends Play at Bob Sitton Invitational

RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech's golf team wrapped up play at the Bob Sitton Invitational on Thursday as the Bulldogs finished in 15th place in the field of 24 at TPC Four Seasons Golf Club in Dallas, Texas.

The Bulldogs posted a three-round total of 898 (301, 296, 301) at the par-71 golf course in Dallas, while LA Tech was even in par-3 and par-5 scoring on the week. LA Tech also had 14 birdies and 47 pars throughout the tournament with Joacim Ahlund leading the way with 12 pars.

Freshman Felix Palson led the team with a score of 224 (76, 72, 76) over the course of three rounds this week to finish tied for 46th place individually. Ahlund finished with a total score of 225 (75, 75, 75) in the tournament to finish tied for 51st place.

Senior Charles Neel White ended the first round one-over-par before ending the week tied for 56th with a three-round total of 226 (13-over-par). Both Jacob Wyatt and Karsten Green closed out play with total scores of 233 for the week.

Louisiana Tech returns to action March 27-28 as the Bulldogs travel to Little Rock, Arkansas, to compete in the Little Rock First Tee Classic.
