The match will be the last non-conference tune up for the Lady Techsters before they begin the Conference USA portion of their schedule on Sunday against Rice. Overall, Tech owns a 22-8 all-time record against the Warhawks, having won an astounding 22 of the last 24 matchups.
Tech (4-9) is coming off a tough 0-3 weekend at the Billiken Invitational, but saw bright spots throughout the lineup. Senior leader Marta Monne was named to her third all-tournament team of 2017 after leading the team with 38 kills across the weekend. Sophomore Madeline Davis also stepped up, notching nine or more kills in all three matches while contributing eight total blocks.
Davis has also made her name known among C-USA leaders after moving into the top-10 in hitting percentage (.339 - ninth). Her presence in the top-10 among blocking leaders has been constant all season as her 1.00 blocks per set average is tied for eighth.
ULM (4-12) dropped two of three contests at the Memphis Invitational last weekend, with their lone win coming in straight sets over Nicholls State. The Warhawks are led by setter Tara Jenkins (5.61 assists per set - 10th among Sun Belt leaders) and Kacey LeBlanc (4.00 digs per set - ninth among Sun Belt leaders).
Following Wednesay's match, Tech will return home to host conference-foe Rice in a Sunday matchup at 1 p.m. Admission is free to all home matches. Remember to follow @LATechVB on Twitter for all breaking news and information on Lady Techster volleyball.
