RUSTON, La.  – Louisiana Tech's Jim Mize Track and Field Complex is set for a temporary closure due to repairs and renovations being made to the facility.
 
The renovation includes a complete resurfacing of the track, a project that will begin immediately.
 
Due to construction in the area, the track will be closed to the public starting Thursday, Jan. 24 and remain that way for approximately three to four weeks, weather permitting.
