RUSTON – Head coach
Brian Johnson and the Louisiana Tech men's and women's track & field programs have announced their schedule for the upcoming 2026 season.
"I am excited about this upcoming season with all the new additions to the team, and the progress that we have made in the last three seasons," Coach Johnson said.
The Bulldogs open the indoor season on January 16 at the Arkansas Invitational in Fayetteville before competing at LSU's Bayou Bengal on January 23. Tech will also make trips to the Woo Pig Classic (Feb. 7) and Tyson Invitational (Feb. 13–14), both hosted by Arkansas, before closing out February at the Conference USA Indoor Championships in Lynchburg, Virginia (Feb. 28–Mar. 1).
Qualifiers will then advance to the NCAA Indoor Championships on March 13–14 in Fayetteville.
The outdoor season begins at the LSU Opener on March 21, followed by the Clyde Hart Classic hosted by Baylor (Mar. 27–28). The Bulldogs continue their spring campaign at the Florida Relays (Apr. 3–4) before returning home for the Jim Mize Invitational on April 7.
From there, Tech heads back to Baton Rouge for the Alumni Gold (Apr. 25) and then takes a short trip to Monroe for the Warhawk Classic on May 2. The outdoor postseason kicks off with the Conference USA Outdoor Championships in Murfreesboro, Tennessee (May 16–18), followed by NCAA Regionals hosted by North Florida in Jacksonville (May 28–31).
The season will conclude at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon, June 11–14.
