LA Tech Softball Hosts Tyler JC Friday Night

RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech will host Tyler Junior College Friday at 6 p.m. at the Ruston Sports Complex (Field B5) for a fall exhibition game.
Admission is free.
The Lady Techsters split a pair of games last Saturday in Shreveport, defeating Angelina College 16-3 before falling to Northwestern State 8-0.
Tech put up 17 hits in the win over Angelina College, including three hits each by Zoe Hicks and Mary Terral and two hits each by Jordyn Manning and Marilyn Rizzato. Manning (3), Hicks (2), Terral (2), Lindsay Edwards (2) and Addison Roark (2) each recorded multiple RBI in the victory.
Bre Hernandez (4.0 IP, 4 H, 1 ER) and Jenny Chapman (3.0 IP, 2 H, 1 ER) each recorded solid performances in the circle in the win.
Edwards (2-2) was the lone Techsters with multiple hits in the loss to Northwestern State while Brooke Diaz, Rizzato and Madie Green each registered one hit.
