RUSTON – The madness is returning to the Thomas Assembly Center, the Tech Madness that is, on Oct. 22 at 9 p.m. to help ignite the upcoming 2019-20 basketball season.
 
Admission is free to all fans with everyone getting a chance to meet this year's Bulldog and Lady Techster teams who will be introduced to the crowd.
 
Co-hosted by SGA and the Union Board, the one-hour event will have three-point and dunk competitions, celebrity judges, fun prizes, free pizza and more.  
 
The Band of Pride, Champ, Regal Blues and cheerleaders will also be on hand to perform.
 
The Lady Techsters welcome seven newcomers to the mix, including some local talent, while returning eight letterwinners from last year, including five who made starts during the season.
 
The Bulldogs return a wealth of experience with 11 upperclassmen on the roster, including four key seniors from a team that won 20 games a season ago.
 
Students in attendance will have the opportunity to claim their tickets for the Hoops 4 Disaster Relief exhibition game against LSU on Nov. 2.
