RUSTON – Louisiana Tech sophomore
Amorie Archibald is one of 11 collegiate players who will represent the United States as part of the 2019 USA East Coast Basketball team this summer.

In partnership with Moneyball Sportswear and Cleveland Brothers-CAT, the squad will be led by Syracuse associate head coach Adrian Autry and will travel to Greece in June to compete in three friendly matches in Athens.

Columbia University will host training camp on June 9-10 before embarking on the international trip. The All-Stars will compete against the Greek National Team and professional club teams from Greece and the Philippines.

"This is an amazing opportunity for me to represent the United States, as well as Louisiana Tech University," said Archibald. "I am very blessed to have this opportunity and I am looking forward to this experience."

Along with Archibald, the East Coast roster includes KJ Smith (North Carolina), Caleb Smith (Northeastern State), Jalen Carey (Syracuse), Dane Goodwin (Notre Dame), Jake Killingsworth (Columbia), Fenton Bradley, Jr. (Western Connecticut State), Ryan Kriener (Iowa), Juwan Durham (Notre Dame) Will Moreton (Stony Brook) and Patrick Tape (Columbia).

Archibald is coming off a sophomore campaign where he started all 33 games for the Bulldogs, averaging 10.8 points, 4.0 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.

Founded by Guy Rancourt in 2006, USA East Coast has given collegiate players from around the country an opportunity to represent the United States internationally at the highest level.
