MBB Set to Host Fourth Annual Dinner with the Dogs

Will feature guest speaker Tim Floyd, a Bulldog letterwinner and who was a head coach for 23 years in college basketball

RUSTON – Louisiana Tech men's basketball fans will have the opportunity to meet and dine with the 2019-20 Bulldogs, as well as hear from guest speaker Tim Floyd, at the fourth annual Dinner with the Dogs which is set for Oct. 24. 
 
Hosted by head coach Eric Konkol, the tip-off dinner and auction will again be a unique experience for fans to get to know the players, coaches and support staff with all proceeds from the evening benefiting the Men's Basketball Foundation. 
 
Also in attendance this year will be Floyd who is a 1977 graduate of Louisiana Tech University, having played for the Bulldogs one year and who went on to be a head coach for 23 years in college basketball at Idaho, New Orleans, Iowa State, USC and UTEP.  He was also a head coach for five seasons in the NBA with the Chicago Bulls and New Orleans Hornets.
 
There will be an open practice that afternoon inside the Thomas Assembly Center on Karl Malone Court, followed by a reception on the club level of the Davison Athletics Complex.
 
A silent auction, photo booth and hors d'oeuvres will be part of the entertainment.  Then at approximately 7 p.m., dinner will be served along with there being a live auction and videos as part of the event.
 
Available are premium tables for $500 (six seats plus coach or player at table) and standard tables for $400 (eight seats).  Individual tickets can also be purchased for $50 per person.
