RUSTON, La. – L'Jarius Sneed's breakout rookie campaign continued on Sunday, setting a new career high with seven solo tackles in Kansas City's 33-27 road victory over the Dolphins.
The 2020 fourth-round pick entered Week 14's contest with the second-best passer rating allowed by a defender this season, checking in at a passer rating of 42.6 when targeted. Sneed also recorded his fourth pass deflection of his rookie year in the Chiefs' triumph.
ESPN's Matt Bowen has taken notice of Sneed's impressive play as a rookie, naming him an
honorable mention for best rookie cornerback right behind Chicago's Jaylon Johnson. Sneed has recorded 30 total tackles, four pass deflections and two interceptions in seven games played in 2020. He is tied for third on the team with a pair of interceptions on the season.

Vernon Butler, DT, Buffalo Bills
Butler played 26 total snaps – 25 on defense and one on special teams – in Buffalo's impressive 26-15 victory over the Steelers on Sunday Night Football. "Big Vern" made his sixth straight start for the Bills, raising his number of career starts to 15. While the former first-round pick did not record a tackle in Sunday's win, he has registered 18 total tackles, five tackles for a loss, a forced fumble and two hits on the quarterback in 11 games played this season.
Xavier Woods, S, Dallas Cowboys
Woods started his 44
th consecutive game in the Cowboys' dominant 30-7 win over the Bengals in Cincinnati. The former Bulldog tallied six tackles in the victory, helping him record five or more total tackles in a game for the eighth time this season. Woods again played 100% of defensive snaps in the triumph, making it the 12
th time this year he has played every down for the Cowboys on the defensive side of the ball. Woods ranks second on the Cowboys roster with 67 total tackles in 2020.
Boston Scott, RB, Philadelphia Eagles
Scott carried the ball three times for 6 yards and caught one pass for 11 yards in Philadelphia's upset victory over the Saints on Sunday. Scott's 18 total snaps on Sunday marked his lowest number of snaps since Philadelphia's loss to the Steelers on Oct. 11. Even with fewer opportunities in the Week 14 victory, Scott rests just 8 rushing yards short of the 300 mark for the season. The third-year pro has racked up 921 total yards this season – 438 on kickoff returns, 292 on the ground and 191 from catching the ball out of the backfield.
Jaylon Ferguson, LB, Baltimore Ravens
Ferguson did not see game action for the first time during the 2020 season. Ferguson earned his first start of the season in Week 12's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He has amassed two sacks, seven tackles for a loss, five hits on the quarterback and a fumble recovery through 12 games. Despite the former Bulldog not suiting up, the Ravens knocked off the Browns in a high-scoring affair on Monday Night Football.
Ryan Allen, P, Indianapolis Colts
Allen punted for the Indianapolis Colts for the second straight week, booting the ball away just one time for 41 yards in the Colts' runaway 44-27 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. The Colts signed Allen to their practice squad on Dec. 3 before ultimately making his debut for Indianapolis on Dec. 6. Allen has punted for two AFC South teams this season – the Indianapolis Colts and the Tennessee Titans.
Justin Ellis, DT, Baltimore Ravens
Ellis made two tackles in Baltimore's 47-42 shootout victory on the road against the Cleveland Browns. The Ravens' defense struggled to get off the field on Monday Night Football, but Ellis and his fellow Ravens did enough to hold off Baker Mayfield and the Browns in primetime. The veteran defensive tackle played 22 snaps on Monday, making it his lowest snap tally since Nov. 11 against the Indianapolis Colts. He has amassed 14 total tackles and a pass deflection in 11 games played this season.
Amik Robertson, CB, Las Vegas Raiders
Robertson did not see game action in Sunday's loss to the Indianapolis Colts. He played eight total snaps – two on defense and six special teams – in the Raiders' last-second victory over the winless Jets on Dec. 6. The former Bulldog has four total tackles as a rookie. He made his NFL debut on Oct. 4 against the Buffalo Bills.
Trent Taylor, WR, San Francisco 49ers
Taylor did not see game action in Sunday's loss to the Washington Football Team. The former Bulldog has caught 10 passes for 86 yards so far this season. He recorded a season-best 29-yard reception on Nov. 1 against the Seattle Seahawks.
Tramon Williams, CB, Baltimore Ravens
Williams did not see game action in Baltimore's 47-42 win over the Browns on Monday Night Football. The former Bulldog has missed the past two weeks due to a thigh injury, but he could return to the lineup as soon as this weekend against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Williams has seven total tackles and two hits on the quarterback in three games this season.
Jeff Driskel, QB, Denver Broncos
Driskel was placed on the injured reserve/COVID-19 list on Nov. 26. Driskel has completed 35-of-64 passes for 432 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions so far this season. He's also carried the ball six times for 28 yards on the ground in three appearances and one start so far this season.
Jordan Mills, OT, Dallas Cowboys
Mills joined the Dallas practice squad on Sept. 29. The former LA Tech offensive lineman played for the Cowboys in 2015 and has spent time with the Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins and Arizona Cardinals during his seven-year NFL career. Mills has played in 90 NFL games, starting 48 straight games for the Bills from 2016-18.
