BOCA RATON -- Louisiana Tech will look to make it three in a row when the Lady Techsters face Florida Atlantic Saturday at 1 p.m. CT.
The contest can be heard on the LA Tech Radio Network at KNBB 97.7 FM with the pregame show starting at 1:30 p.m. It can also be viewed through a paid subscription to CUSATV.com.
LA Tech (12-11, 4-8) is coming off a 68-44 win over FIU on Thursday night in Miami in a game that saw the Lady Techsters lead from start to finish. Tech held FIU to just 13 first half points in building an 11-point halftime lead and then pulled away in the second half. Tech shot 60 percent (18-30) from the field in the second half and hit 10-of-22 three-pointers in the game.
Florida Atlantic (10-13, 4-8 C-USA) is coming off a heartbreaking71-67 loss to Southern Miss at home Thursday night in a game that saw the Owls get out-rebounded 44-23. FAU and USM were tied at 67-67 with 49 seconds to play before the Golden Eagles outscored the Owls 4-0 down the stretch.
LA Tech leads the series all-time series against Florida Atlantic 7-1, including an 86-55 victory over the Owls last season in Ruston. Florida Atlantic recorded its only win in the series in 2017-18 when the Owls defeated LA Tech 86-72 in Boca Raton.
