HOUSTON, Texas – Louisiana Tech will play five games in three days this weekend when the Lady Techsters travel to the Lone Star State to compete in the Houston Challenge hosted by the UH Cougars Friday through Sunday.
Tech opens play Friday at 10:30 a.m. against Princeton before playing a pair of games on Saturday against Texas Tech (9 a.m.) and Syracuse (11:30 a.m.). The tournament will conclude Sunday with games against Princeton (11:30 a.m.) and Houston (2 p.m.).

The Lady Techsters are coming of a loss at No. 6 LSU Wednesday night.
Tech is led offensively by
Zoe Hicks (.292, 3 runs),
Marilyn Rizzato (.261, HR, 5 RBI) and
Jordyn Manning (.250, 4 runs) but is only hitting .212 as a team.
Bre Hernandez (2-2, 3.10 ERA),
Hannah Koenig (0-1, 4.20 ERA),
Audrey Pickett (0-3, 5.25 ERA) and
Jenny Chapman (0-1, 7.00 ERA) will all see time in the circle for Tech this weekend.
