WACO, Texas – Louisiana Tech will continue its stretch of tough non-conference games Tuesday night when the Lady Techsters travel to face Big 12 foe Baylor at 6:30 p.m. at Getterman Stadium.

Tech (3-11) has played some tough teams early in the season, including match-ups against Top 15 teams like LSU and Texas Tech (twice) as well as Houston (twice), Syracuse and now the Baylor Bears.

The Lady Techsters picked up a 6-3 win over Princeton Sunday in the final day of the Cougar Challenge as Madie Green, Marilyn Rizzato, Jordyn Manning and Lindsay Edwards all homered during the two games.

Tech is led offensively by Zoe Hicks (.289, 11 hits, 3 runs), Marilyn Rizzato (.273, 2 HR, 7 RBI), Edwards (.270, 2 HR, 6 RBI) and Manning (.238, 1 HR, 5 RBI).

Baylor (13-2) has rebounded from a down year last season, already posting impressive wins over Auburn, Louisville, Minnesota and Illinois (twice).
