BOWLING GREEN, Kentucky – Louisiana Tech will wrap up its regular season Saturday when the Lady Techsters face WKU at E.A. Diddle Arena at 2 p.m.
The contest can be heard on the LA Tech Sports Network on KXKZ 107.5 FM with the pregame show starting at 1:30 p.m. It can also be seen live through a paid subscription to CUSATV.com.
Tech (14-14, 6-11) is coming off a 69-30 win over UTSA Thursday night in San Antonio in a game that the Lady Techsters led from start to finish. Tech held the Roadrunners to the 10th fewest points ever scored in a game in program history and the 39-point margin of victory was the largest in a league game since joining C-USA in 2013.
The Lady Techsters have won four of their last seven during this current stretch with the three losses coming by two points, two points and in overtime to the defending C-USA champions.
Amber Dixon (12.3 ppg, 80 assists), Keiunna Walker (10.9 ppg, 43 steals), Grayson Bright (9.4 ppg, 4.8 rpg) and Raizel Guinto (8.4 ppg, 81 assists) continue to pace the Lady Techsters offensively. Anna Larr Roberson and Bri Harris each pulled down 10 rebounds in the win over UTSA.
WKU (21-7, 13-4 C-USA) is currently in third place in the Conference USA standings following a 71-60 win over Charlotte on Thursday night. Raneem Elgedawy (17.8 ppg, 11.1 rpg), Dee Givens (16.2 ppg, 5.0 rpg), and Whitney Creech (13.8 ppg) form one of the top scoring trios in C-USA.
The Lady Toppers defeated LA Tech 84-75 in Ruston back on Feb. 6. Tech leads the all-time series 26-21.
