RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech football (3-8, 2-5 C-USA) will take on Rice (3-8, 2-5 C-USA) in its season finale in Houston, Texas, on Saturday, Nov. 27, at Noon CT.
ABOUT LA TECH (3-8, 2-5 C-USA)
Louisiana Tech will look to end the 2021 campaign with a victory. The Bulldogs are coming out of a two-game homestand where they defeated Charlotte, 42-32, and lost to Southern Miss, 35-19.
Offensively, Tech is led by graduate quarterbackÂ
Austin Kendall with 269.14 passing yards per game, graduate running backÂ
Marcus Williams Jr. with 68.18 rushing yards per game and sophomore wide receiverÂ

Trey Baldwin lead the Bulldogs defensively with 91 and 88 total tackles, respectively.

Head coachÂ
Skip Holtz will coach his final game on the Bulldog sideline on Saturday. Holtz was the third-most winningest coach in program history with 64 victories in his nine seasons. He led Tech to seven straight bowl games and earned his 150th career win as a FBS head coach in the 45-42 victory over Southeastern on Sept. 11.
ABOUT RICE (3-8, 2-5 C-USA)
Rice has lost four straight games with its last victory coming against UAB, 30-24, on Oct. 23.

Offensively, Rice is led by graduate quarterback Jake Constantine with 202.75 passing yards per game, redshirt sophomore running back Ari Broussard with 48.65 rushing yards per game and sophomore wide receiver Jake Bailey with 64.91 receiving yards per game. Redshirt senior defensive lineman Elijah Garcia and junior linebacker Antonio Montero lead the Owls defensively with 60 tackles each.
Head coach Mike Bloomgren is in his fourth year at the helm of the Rice program, accumulating a 10-31 overall record.
