RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech will travel south for the second time in five days when the Lady Techsters head to Hammond to face Southeastern Louisiana Wednesday at 4 p.m. in a non-conference doubleheader at North Oak Park.

The Lady Techsters are coming off a 7-2 win over Southern Sunday afternoon in a game that saw senior
Kara Goff cap a productive weekend with two hits and three RBI. Goff added a pair of home runs in a Saturday DH against North Alabama and also pitched four scoreless innings.
Tech's pitching staff has been solid through six games led by
Emma Hutchinson (2-0, 0.00 ERA),
Audrey Pickett (0-1, 2.00 ERA), Goff (0-0, 2.10 ERA) and
Lauren Menzina (0-0, 2.33 ERA).
Southeastern Louisiana (7-6) just completed a 3-1 weekend at the Florida State Unconquered Invitational in Tallahassee where the lone loss was 3-0 to the Seminoles.
The Lions are led offensively by Audrey Greely (.438, 7 RBI), Lindsey Rizzo (.425, 11-11 SB) and Aeryil Mass (.395, 7-7 SB). As a team, Southeastern has stolen 44 of 47 bases through 13 games.
In the circle the Lions are led by Heather Zumo (5-1, 2.42 ERA).
Tech will return home and open Dr. Billy Bundrick Field Friday night when it hosts Tarleton State at 6 p.m. in the first day of the Louisiana Tech Invitational.
