Ruston, La. – New Louisiana Tech head softball coach
Josh Taylor and the entire Lady Techster coaching staff will be holding its Prospect Camp from September 17 through the 19
th.
It will be the first camp held at the new, state-of-the-art Dr. Billy Bundrick Field on the Louisiana Tech campus. To sign up for the camp or for more information, go to JoshTaylorCamps.com.
The three-day camp will focus primarily on competitive situations and testing of softball skill for each camp participant, with a large portion of the camp including live games. Campers will receive advanced individual and group instruction from the Tech coaching staff as well as current Lady Techster players.
"Our prospect camp is an integral part of our recruiting process," said Taylor. "We designed our prospect camp as an opportunity for us to evaluate quality prospective student-athletes. From our past prospect camps, we identified players from whom we eventually received verbal commitments to play at Louisiana Tech. Join our coaching staff and players for this fun and educational camp experience."
The Prospect Camp is available for competitive club players graduating between 2022 and 2026. The cost is $250 with a registration cut-off date of September 16 at noon. Camps will run from 5 to 8 p.m. (Sept 17) and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. (Sept. 18 and 19).
Every camper will receive one game ticket to the Louisiana Tech vs. SMU football game on Saturday September, 18 (2:30 p.m. kickoff), giving each participant the opportunity to experience collegiate gameday life.
