ABOUT LA TECH (9-12, 2-4 C-USA)
LA Tech is coming into Sunday's match after a 3-1 loss against UTEP on Friday night. The Lady Techsters finished the match with 35 kills and 57 digs.
Andrea Spasojevic collected her eighth double-double of the season totaling 11 kills and 15 digs. Spasojevic has produced 25 aces, 173 digs and leads the Lady Techsters with 196 kills this season.
The Lady Techsters are on top of the C-USA total attack charts with 2721.
McKenzie Johnson is ranked third in the conference in service aces with a total of 33 while leading the team with 316 digs.
ABOUT UAB (7-11, 2-4 C-USA)
UAB enters Sunday's match after a tough 3-1 loss to Rice on Friday. Alex Kells led the Blazers with 16 kills and two blocks. Erin Powers produced 25 digs, followed by Maia Rackel with 17.
With 261 kills, Feranda Maida leads the Blazers in kills on the season while being ranked 3
rd in U-USA. Kells follows behind with 228 along with 200 digs. The Blazers are ranked third in the conference for assists totaling 868.
THE SERIES
UAB leads over the Lady Techsters 3-8 winning the last four match-ups. The last time LA Tech has beaten the Blazer was in 2019.
