ABOUT LA TECH (9-13, 2-5 C-USA)
LA Tech is coming off of three back-to-back losses with the goal set to make a turnaround over Florida Atlantic. Redshirt junior,
Andrea Spasojevic, added her ninth double-double on the season against UAB last Sunday with 10 kills and 11 digs. Spasojevic leads the Lady Techsters with 206 kills while sitting in second in digs with 184 and service aces with 27.Â

Morgan Smith set a new career high during Sunday's match with 10 blocks, tying her for third in program record books for blocks per match. The Lady Techsters out-blocked the blazer 14-6. Smith is leading the team with 54 this season. Â

The Lady Techsters are totaling 1,193 digs giving them the No. 3 spot in C-USA while averaging 14.91 per set.
McKenzie Johnson leads with a total of 323 this season with an average of 4.04 per set.Â

ABOUT FAU (12-7, 2-5 C-USA)
Florida Atlantic enters into Friday's match after a 3-0 loss to Middle Tennessee last Sunday. The Owls are ranked nationally as No. 4 for aces per set with a total of 137. Sophomore, Katelynn Robine, leads the team with 36 bringing her into the top 10 nationally, placed at No. 9.Â

Along with leading C-USA in aces, FAU is also leading in assists per set with 12.54. Sophomore setter, Noelle Stephens, leads the Owls with 606.Â

The Owls are led defensively by Lauryn Green and Camryn Vogler. Green has 54 of the 131 total team blocks. Vogler has collected 245 digs on the season. On Oct. 7, Vogler set her season high with 24 digs against Charlotte.Â

THE SERIES
Friday will be the first time the Lady Techsters and Owls have faced off since Head Coach
Amber McCray's inaugural season in 2019. FAU leads 7-1 after taking the last match-up 3-0.
