RUSTON – The Louisiana Tech golf team heads into its third tournament of the season, taking part in the Purdue Intercollegiate in West Lafayette, Indiana on Oct. 10-11.

ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH
LA Tech is coming off a 12th place finish at the Trinity Forest Invitational this past week. The Bulldogs had a strong finish to the three-day event, jumping five spots in the team standings with three players going under par in the final round.

Thomas Henson was the highest finisher for the 'Dogs, registering a 211 (-5) to finish in a tie for 13th place. The newcomer shot at or below par in all three rounds, going 70-72-69.

Lake Juban had the second best finish for the squad, recording a 215 (-1) to tie for 27th. It marked the second straight event he has finished under par for the tournament.Â

The rest of the lineup consists of
James Swash who is averaging 72.17 through the first two tournaments,
Will Patrick who has a top-20 finish this season and
Hunter Battles who returns to the field after opening the year with a 223 at the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate. Â
