ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (0-0)
Coming into 2022-23 on the heels of a West Division title, C-USA tournament title appearance, and WNIT bid, the Lady Techsters are poised for another strong season after being tabbed No. 2 in the preseason Conference USA coach's poll.

LA Tech returns 10 letter winners and all five starters from last year's 21-win team, including all-conference performers Keiunna Walker and Anna Larr Roberson.

Walker was recently named the 2022 Conference USA Preseason Player of the Year while Roberson was named to the preseason Second-Team. The duo averaged 34 points and 13 rebounds last season.

Walker is currently ranked No. 27 on the all-time Lady Techster scoring list with 1,403 career points, while Roberson is only 43 points away from joining the 1,000-point club.

Scheduled to make her Techster debut is Pittsburgh transfer Gabbie Green who sat out all of last season due to injury.

Brooke Stoehr enters her seventh season at the helm of the program and is 5-1 in season openers in Ruston and has won five in a row.

Stoehr surpassed 100 wins at LA Tech last season and moved past Teresa Weatherspoon on the all-time list into third behind Sonja Hogg and Leon Barmore.

ABOUT CENTRAL BAPTIST COLLEGE (2-0)
Central Baptist College, an NAIA program out of Conway. Ark., is led by Lyle Middleton who heads into his 19th season leading the Mustangs.

Last season, Central Baptist finished with a 15-16 overall record and a 5-13 mark in the American Midwest Conference.

The Mustangs were picked to finish eighth (out of 11 teams) in the AMC preseason poll.

CBC is off to a perfect 2-0 start to the new year with wins over Bible Baptist College (83-74) and Bacone College (74-50).

The Mustangs are averaging 78.5 ppg while shooting .382 from the field, including .333 from three.

A squad with nine newcomers, including seven junior college transfers, is headlined by four double-digit scorers led by junior guard Caroline Citty at 15.8 ppg.
