The Lady Techsters return home to face FAU for the first of four straight home games.
RUSTON, La. – Louisiana Tech women's basketball team finally returns home to host Florida Atlantic inside the Thomas Assembly Center in Ruston, La. at 6:30 p.m. The game can be seen on CUSATV with a paid subscription and heard on 97.7 FM.

ABOUT LOUISIANA TECH (11-8, 3-5 C-USA)
The Louisiana Tech women's basketball team has played eight of their last ten games on the road including a two-game Texas road swing at Rice and North Texas this past week. The Techsters split the Texas pair falling to Rice (72-64) but bouncing back against North Texas (72-60).
LA Tech is now 7-0 on the season when scoring 70 or more points.
The win over North Texas was fueled by four Techsters in double figures in including a career-high 17 from Salma Bates, 19 from Keiunna Walker, 12 from Robyn Lee and 10 from Anna Larr Roberson.
The Techsters, winners in three of their last four games, now get to play in the friendly confines for the next four straight contests beginning this week with Florida Atlantic on Thursday and Florida International on Saturday.
Keiunna Walker continues to pace the Techsters averaging 17.4 ppg. Walker has now scored in double figures 20 straight games and is one of only three conference USA players to do so.
Walker now sits at No. 38 in all-time in career scoring for the Lady Techsters having passed Teresa Weatherspoon with a 16-point performance at Rice.
Anna Larr Roberson surpassed 500 career rebounds Saturday at North Texas and currently ranks No. 2 in C-USA rebounding. She also leads the conference in free-throw percentage (.850).
Roberson, who is averaging 13.0 ppg and 9.3 rpg game this season, has now scored in double figures in 16 of her 18 games this season including each of the last 12.
The Lady Techsters are one of the top defensive teams in conference USA ranking No. 3 in scoring defense (58.6 ppg), tied at No. 4 in blocked shots (3.6 bpg), and tied for No. 5 in turnovers forced (19.1 tfpg).
The Techsters are averaging 66.0 ppg this season on 41.0 percent shooting and rank as the No. 1 team in conference USA in free-throw percentage (.759).
ABOUT FLORIDA ATLANTIC (5-14, 1-7 C-USA)
Florida Atlantic comes into Ruston after having split a pair of home games with UTEP and UTSA. The Owls knocked off UTEP (54-52) on Thursday before falling to UTSA Saturday afternoon (49-44).
FAU is averaging 61.0 ppg this season on 38 percent shooting, which ranks them No. 13 in C-USA, but their offense boasts a very balanced attack with four double-digit scorers led by senior Amber Gaston at 12.2 ppg.
The Owls also get 11.5 ppg from redshirt junior Janeta Rozentale, 11.2 ppg from redshirt senior Rita Pleskevich, and 10.4 ppg from junior Alexa Zaph.
Rozentale is also the third leading rebounder in the conference USA at 8.6 rebounds per game.
FAU is giving up 63.6 ppg on the defensive end while holding opponents to just under 38 percent shooting against them.

Louisiana Tech and Florida Atlantic will meet for the 10th time in women's basketball with Tech holding a 7-2 advantage. The series dates back to the 1986-87 season, however, the teams only matched up once before meeting again during the 2013-14 season.
LA Tech won the first six meetings and are 3-0 in games played in Ruston, but FAU has now won two of the last three including the last meeting during the 2019-20 season in Boca Raton (77-75).
